How tuition works
No surprises: here is what sets tuition, what the extras are for, and where to find our figures.
What sets tuition
Tuition follows the class a dancer is placed in and how many classes a week they take. The level, the length of the class and whether it is soft shoe, hard shoe or group dances all play a part. Our figures are on the enrollment page, and we are glad to talk them through by phone.

Registration
A registration for the year covers your dancer's file, the school's insurance and your place in the parent portal. It is due when you enroll after the placement visit, never before.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly by autopay through the parent portal, or by the session if you would rather pay once. Adult classes can be paid by the session.
Siblings
A second dancer in the family is handled differently from the first. Ask us at the placement visit and we will tell you how.
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed class can be made up in another class of the same level, or the level just below it, in the same session. Ask at the door or send a message before you come.
Uniforms, costumes and other costs
Soft shoes come first and are ordered with you once a dancer has a level. Hard shoes follow when the teacher says it is time. A class top is worn from the second session. A solo dress is a decision for the dancer, the family and the teacher, and many families buy one used. Feis entries are paid by the family for each event a dancer chooses, and travel to a feis is the family's too. The spring showcase has a production fee for each dancer, and guests need tickets.
Soft shoes, then hard shoes when the teacher says
A class top from the second session
A solo dress only if a dancer wants one
Feis entries and travel, event by event
A production fee for the spring showcase, and tickets for guests
Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice before a dancer leaves so the place can go to someone on the waitlist. A showcase costume that has already been ordered is still billed.
